Lidl Foodies Workshop

On Thursday the 16th of July, our Year 2 and Year 3 pupils enjoyed taking part in a fun and interactive Lidl Foodies workshop.

The Lidl team visited our school to teach the children all about fruit and vegetables, including how to tell the difference between a fruit and a vegetable. The pupils had the opportunity to taste a variety of different fruits and vegetables, sharing their thoughts by completing a worksheet about what they had tried.

To finish the session, the children used their creativity to design their own unique fruit or vegetable before each taking home a selection of fresh fruit or vegetables, kindly provided by Lidl.

It was a fantastic morning of learning, tasting and creativity, enjoyably encouraging healthy eating.
