Key Stage 2 SATs results are phenomenal!
As we come to the end of another wonderful academic year, I wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate some truly exceptional achievements with you.
This year has been one of the most successful in St Paul’s history. Our children have worked incredibly hard, our staff have shown unwavering dedication, and together, as a school community, we have achieved outcomes that we are immensely proud of.
Our Key Stage 2 SATs results are phenomenal. They are the strongest results we have achieved in at least the last twelve years and place St Paul’s significantly above the national average in a number of areas.

For those who may not be familiar with SATs, these are the national assessments completed by pupils at the end of Year 6. They measure children’s attainment in reading, mathematics and grammar, punctuation and spelling. Writing is assessed by teachers throughout the year, and schools are also measured on the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined, one of the key national performance measures.
We are incredibly proud to share our outcomes:
These results reflect the high expectations we have for every child, the outstanding commitment of our staff and, most importantly, the resilience and determination shown by our pupils. Our youngest children have also achieved something truly remarkable.
I am absolutely delighted to share that St Paul’s achieved the highest Good Level of Development (GLD) in the whole of the London Borough of Southwark.
