Larch Class on Ancient Egypt

As part of our Capital and Culture Ancient Egypt unit, the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own names in hieroglyphics.

They carefully drew each symbol before painting over their work. The activity really engaged their creativity and understanding of ancient Egyptian writing, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and pride as their finished pieces took shape.
