Fun in after school club

Today in After School Club, we have been making paper sculptures! We looked at the work of artist Michael Bolus, whose creations inspired our own. While Bolus made his sculptures from steel — a very strong material — we experimented with paper and discussed how the two might be similar.

If you didn’t know his work was made from steel, what material would you think it was made from? We explored using paper in lots of different ways to create interesting shapes. What kind of shape would you make if you tried this at home?
