Celebrating Interfaith Week
How we got involved with Interfaith Week
We explored festivals from different faith traditions to help us understand their significance. Each class shared their findings about one key festival celebrated in the following faiths:
- Hinduism -Diwali,
- Islam- Eid al-Fitr (Ramadan,)
- Buddhism-Vesak,
- Judaism Passover (Pesach)
- Sikhism- VaisakhiWe
appreciate the diverse ways people express their beliefs and values. These festivals often include special rituals, foods, and stories that teach important lessons about kindness, gratitude, and community. We hope that these festivals will continue to foster respect and curiosity about different cultures and religions in our school community.
